During my time at William Rowland, I worked within a fast‑paced industrial environment, supporting the company’s marketing and communications through a range of design and production tasks. The role gave me hands‑on experience creating visual materials for a long‑established metals and alloys supplier, balancing technical accuracy with clear, accessible design.
Working closely with the director, I gained valuable insight into how design functions within a manufacturing‑led business — from maintaining brand standards to supporting with on‑the‑ground materials. The experience strengthened my skills in layout, typography, and production workflows. Over my 12 month with them I developed into other areas such as flyers for training programs as-well as exploring marketing for them on social platforms such as LinkedIn.
