Parson’s Lot
Parsons Lot is a Barnsley‑based folk band who approached me to create artwork inspired by Peter Blake’s iconic Sgt. Pepper’s collage style, but with a more contemporary feel. The aim was to blend bold, layered visuals with subtle references to English folk traditions, including nods to the Green Man and other symbolic motifs.
The final direction combined analogue textures, cut‑out elements, and digital composition to create a rich, handcrafted aesthetic that felt both familiar and fresh. Working closely with the band ensured the artwork reflected their sound and storytelling, resulting in a distinctive visual identity that rewarded closer inspection and captured the spirit of their music..
